Preview: SpectroNet ‘Photonics and Machine Vision’ Web Pitches 2021

The next series of Photonics & Machine Vision Web Pitches start on January 13th, 2021. This format is free and open to companies and research institutes in photonics and machine vision. The presentations will focus on technology and applications. Companies from these fields are welcome to contact the organizers to give a presentation with insights into their business and practical solutions.

The weekly event series starts after the holiday break on January 13 at 2 pm CET with Dr Jan Makowski of Luxflux, outlining 2D True Color Measurement with Hyperspectral Imaging. The format is free and open for everyone and the speakers are available to answer questions.

The next three weeks will see The power in your pocket – Use your smartphone as a super-resolution microscope by Benedict Diederich of Leibniz IPHT Jena, Higher performance of image & sensors with deep-black coatings through stray light optimization by Acktar’s Alexander Telle, and DigiVine – Digitization in the value chain of viticulture: from planting to grape delivery by Prof Thomas Längle of Fraunhofer IOSB.

SpectroNet is glad to start the new year with good news. It received the Cluster Management Excellence Label SILVER – Dedicated to Cluster Excellence, in recognition of continuous improvements according to the methodology of the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI).
