Meanwhile it is obvious that the Covid-19 impact and the international restrictions for events like the EMVA forum and the related travel will remain valid further.

The EMVA event team has been in contact with local authorities and monitored closely the international situation for the last weeks. Now, based on the still high dynamics of the pandemic development it will come as no surprise that it was decided to formally cancel the European Machine Vision Forum scheduled to take place in September 2020 in Cork, Ireland.

As the forum to an high degree is characterized by personally meeting peers in combination with having latest developments in products, software etc. available at the forum’s supplementing exhibition, the decision has been taken to postpone the whole forum to 2021 instead of changing to an online format.

2021 European Machine Vision Forum – save the date!

The EMVA together with its local organization partner and main sponsor of the forum, Tyndall National Institute, are looking forward to next year’s forum edition taking place 9 – 10 September 2021 in Cork, Ireland.
As usual the forum will offer technical presentations supplemented by a table-top exhibition and excellent networking opportunities. (Source: EMVA)
