The German Flat Panel Display Forum (DFF) has a new general manager. During the DFF system integration platform & working group meeting at BMW on October 23 and 24, Ulrich Rütten officially was introduced to around seventy participants. He follows the previous incumbent Franz Schneider, who leaves the professional association to retire.

Rütten is a certified physicist and electrical engineer. The 65-year-old exhibits many years of experience in electrical and mechanical test engineering as well as in HMI applications. He works as a freelance consultant and interim manager with a focus on restructuring. One of his key tasks at DFF is to decisively organize the pleasant growth of the association, currently with more than seventy member companies, and to establish the necessary structures for this purpose.

“The meeting was about the latest display and interior lighting concepts. This was a very good opportunity for us to present our new general manager to the attending experts from industry and research. We are very happy that with Ulrich Rütten we gain an expert who, with his personal network and his professional competence, contributes to the further positive development of our association,” says Karlheinz Blankenbach, Chairman of the DFF.
